  • Day 2: Essaouira to Agadir

    Depart from Essaouira and travel south to Agadir, a popular resort city known for its sandy beaches and year-round sunshine. Spend the day indulging in the pleasures of this coastal paradise, whether it's lounging on the beach, swimming in the crystal-clear waters, or exploring the city's vibrant atmosphere. Visit the Kasbah, an ancient fortress offering panoramic views of Agadir, or wander through the lively Souk El Had market to experience the vibrant local culture. To go to your native desert tent in Erg Chebbi, we took a desert safari over dunes as the sun was setting. Meals and an extra night in a nomadic tent amid the Sahara desert to the sound of drumming.

  • Day 3: Agadir to Marrakech

    Leave the coastal beauty of Agadir behind and head on a journey to the vibrant city of Marrakech. As you arrive, submerge yourself in the bustling streets of the historic medina. Explore the iconic Jamaa el Fna Square, where musicians, storytellers, and street performers create a lively atmosphere. Visit the exquisite Bahia Palace, known for its stunning architecture and lush gardens, and admire the towering minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque. In the evening, let your senses come alive as you wander through the night market, indulging in the aromas and flavors of traditional Moroccan cuisine. Marrakech offers a captivating blend of history, culture, and vibrant energy that will leave you enchanted. Then we proceed to the Oasis of Tafilalet in Erfoud, which is well-known for its Dates Festival, the Chebbi sands via Tinjdad, & Rissani, which is home to the Alaouite dynasty of the reigning monarch of Morocco. Near Tinjdad and Erfoud, you can pause to descend into the clever shallow groundwater canals located deep just below the soil. These tubes always are fresh and keep this supply of irrigation from evaporating. After being greeted with a drink of tea at the tent, we take a camel to the summit of the dunes to view the sun. Dinner is served afterward, followed by a night spent in a native camp at the base of the sand dunes.

  • Day 4: Marrakech to Dades Gorges

    Today, depart from Marrakech and set out on a scenic journey through the majestic Atlas Mountains towards Dades Gorges. As you traverse the winding roads, be enthralled by the picturesque Berber villages nestled among the awe-inspiring mountain landscapes. Along the way, make a stop at the renowned Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its fortified mud-brick Kasbah. Explore the labyrinthine corridors and marvel at the architectural marvels of this ancient desert city.
