An unforgettable night sky can be seen in the middle of the Saharan desert’s sands on this 4-day trek from Fes to Marrakech via the Merzouga Dunes.
Explore the desert dunes and the Berber way of living by going on a camel trip. Additionally, the deserts excursion is perfect for those of you who fly out of Marrakech to Fez . Even though the journey might well be completed in two nights and three days, we advise taking a minimum of three nights and four days.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

    We start our personal tour by a driving into the Atlas Mountains, arriving along the way to see the town of Ifrane. There, we'll get the opportunity to explore the well-known cedar forest, which is the habitat of the Berber monkeys. Before going into the Atlas Mountains and enjoying in the breathtaking views of the Midelt landscape and along the route, we will be allowed to eat lunch. We will then arrive at the Ziz Valley after traveling via the Atlas Mountains. The next stop is Merzouga, where we're going to spend the evening in a neighborhood Guesthouse.

  • Day 2: Merzouga desert tour and camel trekking

    Even now, we'll tour the area from around Erg Chebbi dunes in the wilderness. You'll get a chance to observe how nomadic life and the stunning contrast of the desert. The Gnawa music would be enjoing when we travel to the ebony town of Khamlia. We'll enjoy a typical Berber pizza for lunch in the historic city of Rissani. We'll go on a camel in the mid-afternoon to see the sun go down over the desert before the night is spent in the campground. As the moon is full above the beautiful Deserts, we will enjoy a classic Tagine dinner, savor some delectable regional black tea, and listen to Moroccan Berber music while sitting around with a campfire.

  • Day 3: Merzouga – Dades Gorges

    To capture the sun, we'll get a good start. Then, we'll visit a hotel for breakfast and a moment to clean up while going on to Ouarzazate. We'll stop at the Berber communities along the road as well as the Todra and Dades Gorges. In the Dades River, we'll stay for the night in a neighborhood guesthouse.

  • Day 4: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazatte – Marrakech

    Following breakfast, we'll move on toward Ouarzazate and through Route des Mille Kasbahs (fortresses), passing in Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of the Valley of Flowers, which is well-known because of its yearly Rose Festival. Our next stop is the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a Unesco World Heritage Site that has served as a production company for numerous Hollywood productions, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and the renowned HBO series Game of Thrones. The remainder of our journey will be spent in Marrakesh, reached by the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass.
