Take a camel ride in the sand and take in all the breathtaking vistas of the Atlas mountains. The quick excursion to a desert from Fes is intended for visitors who only had a short break in Fes, we wished to experience the Sahara by spending a night in the Erg Chebbi dunes and returning to Fes the following day.

Itinerary

Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

For the journey, your driver will meet you at your riad/hotel at 7:30 am to reach the Sahara, our Desert journey will first traverse the Middle Atlas mountains, passing thru the cedar forests of Ifran (often known as the Switzerland of Morocco), Azrou, Midelt, and the Ziz gorges. Following a leisurely fifteen minutes at Merzouga, we start your hour-long camel ride to view the sunsets in one of the 250-meter-high Merzouga dunes. You spend a few minutes stroll to the luxurious camp after admiring the mesmerizing Desert sunset. Each tourist will never forget a starry sky in a well-equipped tent with drumming sounds in the heart of the Sahara.
Day 2: Merzouga – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez

Ride the camels to the hotel after an early wake-up to take in a stunning dawn on the dunes. We eat a hearty meal and drink a hot cup of coffee before returning to Fes. Inside the home of apple, we make a pit halt for lunch. They then repeat the crossing via Ifran across the Middle Mountains, arriving in Fes in the early hours.
