Inside the morning, a guide will pick from your hotel or riad in Marrakech and take you to the High Atlas Mountains. Give it a break in Tahanaout along the journey to revel in the magnificent vista of a historic Berber settlement and a valley rich with olive groves. You’ll see the picturesque countryside with both the typical Berber settlements in the lush valleys as you travel to Ouirgane. If you’d prefer, you will go to a nearby women’s coop for argan oil and purchase several lovely trinkets.
You will stop by a local farmhouse to sample some brewed mint tea while observing way people live in the small mountain communities.
You will soon reach Imlil, the important part for multi-day treks to Mount Toubkal, Nation’s second mountains. Your local expert is available for some of you to embark on a picturesque 1-hour stroll through Imlil’s hamlet and environs. On a balcony in the town, you may unwind and take in the amazing views if you don’t feel like going.
Lunch is provided by a small family inside a remote lodge.
