This community is laid-back, and has narrow, twisting lanes and marketplace areas where women from the nearby Rif go to sell various handcrafted goods. After having dinner, we'll spend the night in a hotel or riad in Chefchaouen.

With a sizable tomb and close-by mosque, it is a place of pilgrimage for certain Moroccans. You keep going until you reach Meknes, the tiniest and nicest of Morocco's 5 royal cities. It provides several opportunities to record some of your trip's most memorable photographic moments. We'll eat lunch in Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the biggest Kasbah in Morocco, which was built at the turn of the 20th century by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains. On his way from the Sahara to Marrakech, he stopped there as one of his stops. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Kasbah. We'll spend the day getting to know this ethereal city. See the Bahia Palace, the former residence of the Grand Vizier Ba Ahmed dated from the late 18th century, which is now a museum of fine arts, and you'll see the imposing silhouette of the Koutoubia that stands watch so over red buildings and the Saadian graves. The souks, which are made up of a maze of meandering lanes that go through a group of smaller marketplaces grouped according to industry, provide an amazing buying experience. We will head to Essaouira around lunch. Just a few wayside villages and the sporadic Berber settlement can be seen on the way to this former Portuguese fishing town. The journey was undertaken by Bob Marley, Cat Stevens, and Jimi Hendrix. Castles Built of Sand, a song by Jimi Hendrix, was also inspired by this. Essaouira, commonly known as Mogador, is well-known for its annual "Gnaoua music" event. In one of Morocco's most beautiful activity which takes, old Portuguese walls protect the medieval town where you can observe silversmiths and the demand for the product in action.
